Dry the River Horses (a 3D paper-craft poster project)
Dry the River created these huge paper-craft horse posters in collaboration with FOAM creative Xavier Barrade. This short film shows the posters being crafted and fly-posted. Xavier designed the horses in 3D with Google Sketch Up before printing out and assembling the component parts. Each horse took around 35 hours to build.
Scott Campbell ya se dedica más a dárselas de artista que a tatuar (famosos) como bien se labró su nombre. Muy respetable pero le prefería como tatuador. Hasta ahora.

Ritual Objects is a collection of glazed slipcast terracotta vessels made up of combined geometric shapes. Each of the eight objects have been designed with the same geometric principals, and in this way, are reduced down to a series of symbols. The objects present contrasting qualities of texture (rough vs. smooth), color (saturated vs. muted), finish (shiny vs. matte), and condition (natural vs. artificial). Despite a lack of planned use, each object has the capacity to take on a number of different functions, including cup, vase, bowl, table and desktop containment, and others. Their functional and aesthetic ambiguity allows for a freedom of use and context.
Safe personal space, whether standing or sitting, was a key insight of the process and TILT created an enclosing form that can be either a chair or a booth depending on need.
“living material” is a project exploring in a new design method to reutilize the most basic natural material. The aim of this project was to find out the potential of the material and visualize the beauty of the nature.
La obra de Madeline von Foerster nos hace viajar a la escuela de Fontainebleau y siempre es un agradable paseo si la técnica acompaña, y en este caso lo hace sobradamente.

Four Tet, John Talabot, Acid Pauli, Caribou, James Murphy y Damian Lazarus han sido retratados por el prestigioso diseñador e ilustrador catalán Alex Trochut mediante una técnica que nos permite ver dos imágenes completamente distintas, en función de si hay luz o estamos a oscuras. En un mismo póster podemos ver las dos caras, día/noche, de estos famosos músicos/DJs.
PERDIZ es una revista sobre personas y las cosas que les hacen felices. Una recopilación de historias increíbles sobre gente normal. Un manual de supervivencia sin fórmulas mágicas. Es una colección de cosas bonitas.

Eckart Hahn ya es un clásico en ARTNAU (ver anterior post), uno de los grandes artistas actuales a los que se ha de ir siguiendo la pista para no perderse ninguna de sus últimas maravillas. Sus plásticos, sus animales, sus amarillos, negros y azules. Por favor, pasen y disfruten.
“Grid Set” es un set de mesa formado por 11 piezas: salero, pimentero, aceitera, vinagrera, contenedores de servilletas y cubiertos, florero, bandejas y jarras. Su particularidad reside en su diseño: las piezas encajan unas con otras, independientemente de la posición que ocupen.
De nuevo tengo mesa preferida para el estudio, y eso que ya hemos visto unas cuantas mesas escritorios muy bonitas, pero nada, me quedo con la Tray con diferencia. De momento.
