‘Learn to Unlearn’ is a design ideology expressed in a series of ambiguous objects that overthrow the unconscious learned behaviour governing our perception. With this project,Koeppen fundamentally invites the user to re-experience the original concept of functionality in design objects. For example, a precarious two-legged stool encourages to rethink the act of sitting. Thus, a lamp challenges the user with its weight , continually forcing him to turn off the light mechanism. Thus, a lamp forces the user to turn off the light mechanism continually by its own conformation.
