TRIMFIT ILLUSTRATION PROJECT

by 4 febrero 2013

In celebration of what has been undoubtedly a monumental year for Britain, BRUTUS proudly launch their ‘TRIMFIT ILLUSTRATION PROJECT’. The iconic shirt specialist has commissioned 30 emerging British artists to illustrate using the legendary white ‘Trimfit’ shirts as their canvas. Incorporating their own unique styles, each artist has interpreted what BRUTUS means to them.

The Brutus Trimfit shirts have been worn proudly since 1966 as a reflection of personal style and youth culture. A dedication to a particular look following of specific sounds and an obsession with fit and detail. As a part of Brutus’ testament to nurturing and encouraging young British talent, artists such as Arran Gregory, Hattie Stewart and Joseph Long, have cleverly portrayed the brands heritage by using the shirts as a blank canvas.
