Australian artist Andy Thomas specializes in creating ‘audio life forms’: beautiful abstract shapes that react to sounds. In this animated short, he visualizes two recorded bird sounds from the archives of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum.
Canadian artist Adam Lupton‘s gaze explores psychological and sociological struggles in modern society. Painting in oil, blurring lines between realism and expressionism helps Lupton probe the internal and external dialogue faced in his multi-directional narratives. His recent work pits moments of choice against the visualization of their outcomes: temporal planes coexisting on a singular surface. With the notion of quantum mechanics having every possible outcome to a situation realized in splintered universes, he paints figures with varied levels of connection to reality.
Esta serie de floreros fabricados en cerámica esmaltada, están inspirados en los tradicionales tríos de música mexicana. Su estética refleja la esencia, aspecto y personalidad de cada uno de los integrantes de alguna de esta agrupaciones. Donde encontramos al simpático gordito, seguido del vocalista fortachón líder de la banda y en la retaguardia al tímido y delgado guitarrista. Como una abstracción de la vestimenta de estas agrupaciones que se conforma de saco y corbatín. Las piezas cerámicas presentan un corte distintivo en la parte frontal.

Anders Gjennestad is a norwegian stencil artist who exhibits in galleries, on street walls he goes by the alias strøk. Using his own photographs as a point of departure, his hand cut multi-layered stencils create photorealistic imagery, with depth and detail that is complex, tactile and mentally engaging. The placement and choice of material painted on depicts the nature of the subject and enables the work to interact with the space.
Lucy Birley has collaborated with product designer Lambert Rainville to create “Chroma Frame”, and innovative chair system with interchangeable textile covers, allowing the user to explore shape and colour, and have fun with the designer’s flexible and informal vision.
