Born in 1943 in Persia, the Maison Chamszadeh, known in France for more than 40 years for the quality of its traditional carpets, created cc-tapis in 2001. With great respect for tradition, which you feel in the quality of the craft and materials, cc-tapis innovates with designs and colors that are more in touch with todays decorative freedom, pushing the limits to a more trasgressive and conceptual experimentation.
Handwoven with a tibetan knot in Nepal upon a cotton weave, cc carpets may be in wool, silk or hemp. A substancial number of rug designs are produced using only vegetable dyes (1200 different colors are available). Different finishings are possible such as loop, embossing or different heights of pile.
