Nerhol es un dúo japonés formado por Yoshihisa Tanaka y Ryuta Iida. Su obra consiste en un fantástico efecto hecho con fotografías cortadas en muchísimas y finas capas, como si de un mapa topográfico se tratase, creando un efecto de deformados retratos tridimensionales simplemente genial.

SVRFACE is a visual dialogue between the body, the fabric, space and the object. A series of meanings and associations is encoded as deep as in the pattern that covers the fabric. Elements that appear in the pictures complement one another on many levels. It is the search for a new form of expression within fashion that begins underneath the aforementioned surface.

Light Emitting Dudes takes a team of freerunners, geared up from head to toe with LED lights, and sets them loose on the streets of Bangkok at night. With acrobatic grace we carved up the already buzzing night life spots while adding their own flair and colour to the mix.
POP POP BANG
A collaboration between creative director Anna Burns and the photographer Thomas Brown. Through the use of various mediums the pair have curated an exhibition that explores the masculine world of B-Movies and juxtaposed it with the traditional British landscape. Using the themes of said movies – girls, guns and explosives – and twisting it against a very British backdrop these two challenge not only the premise of each subject but also the use of their chosen medias. The duo created a wall of umbrellas displaying elements of the classic B-Movie and located them within three landscapes – one being the forest, then London’s docklands and finally the grounds of Suffolk Manor house.

Este grupo de artistas suizos y daneses, establecidos en Copenhague, son capaces de convertir lo ordinario en algo extraordinario. Objetos cotidianos sumados a otros, transformados sutilmente o bien cambiados de su forma o material natural, se vuelven pura poesía visual.

Eva Stenram . “Drape”
Stenram’s most current series, Drape, uses vintage pin-up photographs as its source material. The women in these photographs are posed in interior domestic sets in front of curtains or drapes, offering a glimpse into intimate space. In Stenram’s versions of these images, the curtains are extended to partially obscure the women. The background envelopes the focal point and the foreground slips into the background. The curtain vacillates between striptease-drape and blind or shutter, reinforcing its role as a barrier between public and private. The resulting image makes no attempt to look ‘real’; rather, it submits to a cut-and-paste collage aesthetic whose ultimate referent is the act of photography itself.
